There is a big difference between a yard that just has mulch and a yard that has been properly edged and mulched. That difference is exactly what we were going for on this one.

We started by cutting deep, clean edges along every bed line. Sharp edges do a lot of the heavy lifting - they give the mulch a defined boundary, keep grass from creeping in, and make the whole front of the property look intentional. When the edging is right, everything else falls into place.

The mulch we used here is a premium brown fine grind. It lays tight and smooth, holds its color well, and gives that deep, rich contrast against the green of the lawn and the trimmed boxwoods. You can see how much the dark mulch makes those rounded shrubs pop. It is one of those details that is easy to overlook until you see it done well.

This is one of our core spring clean up services. We come in, clean out the beds, re-cut the edges, and put down fresh mulch. It is a straightforward process, but the results speak for themselves. A well-mulched bed also helps retain moisture and suppress weeds - so it is not just about looks.

Fishers properties like this one are a great example of what a focused mulch installation can do for curb appeal. Clean lines, quality material, and attention to the details that actually matter.
